Great! When is the ver.6 gearbox disassembly video coming?
by Logan March 3rd, 2009yeah im looking forward to a ver. 6 gearbox takedown
by Pat March 3rd, 2009Thanks !!!! and waiting for ver.6 gearbox disassembly video
by vampire_andreas March 3rd, 2009And that’s what I love about p90′s. Too bad all aegs aren’t this simple.
by Jeremy March 3rd, 2009Yeah im looking forward to a v6 video.
by Christian March 3rd, 2009The video is really choppy when viewed online. It plays flawlessly when downloaded. I like the Ver 2 rewiring video where you can select the resolution when you hit play.
by Sonja Michelle March 5th, 2009Great little tutorial. Oh and to Sonja, the video wasn’t choppy for me at all. You must have a lower speed internet connection
by RioMesaAirsoft March 6th, 2009Kudos for the quick response in being able to choose playback resolutions!
by Sonja Michelle March 9th, 2009Thanks for this one, Keep the P90 vids coming.
Love the site it has saved my butt so many times.
by Mike March 15th, 2009Hey 9mm,
I know this question isnt about the p90 but its important. Me and my friend had to take apart his gun and mechbox (its a full stock AK-47) and we fixed the problem it had, and put the mechbox back together fine. BUT, once we put the mechbox in the gun and screwed everything in (there were extra screws, which means we messed up putting back the externals somewhere), the gun is firing REALLY weird now. Some shots roll out of the barrel, rarely it shoots normally. Most go about the range of a cheap spring pistol except it usually wildly curves up, down, left, or right. We didnt screw in the hop up because we werent really sure how. Could this be doing it?
Thanks for the videos, they really are helpful especially when your in a tight situation where you could possibly have a broken gun, they have helped me more than once.
by Robert March 25th, 2009Good start to the P90 series of vids. I’ve been waiting for months to see how you guys take down and put back together the P90. My p90 is not in the greatest of shape, and im going to try to fix it up myself before sending it into the shop. maybe i can save some money by waiting.
by Chris March 31st, 2009do you have an ETA on a P90 giveaway? love the videos, have saved me more than a pretty penny, good job and keep up the work!
by Daniel April 1st, 2009Hmm can’t wait for v6 gear box vid can anyone tell me how to put a tightbore in my tm p90
by Ben hall April 14th, 2009Hey, let’s not forget how easy the AUG is to disassemble…
by Zach April 17th, 2009Ben P90 is easiest AEG to put a new barrel in (maybe except M4/M16). Just pull off the uper receiver, turn the hop up unit sideways to remove it, and pull the barrel out of it. Be careful you don’t tear the hop up bucking though (they’re not expensive but why risk it)
by Logan April 19th, 2009hey thanks Logan now i just need to get the money for a 6.01 tightbore.
by Ben April 20th, 2009Hi Ben,
by R7 April 22nd, 2009Go for the following tightbores:
PDI, EDGI, Prometheus, KM TN, or JBU. Don’t go for DBC or Madbull because the inner barrel gets worn after about 4,000 rounds even though they may fire hot at first. Tanio Koba is also very interesting, but makes the hop up function on AEG’s useless! However, it can GREATLY increase accuracy.
Best Tightbores: EdGI/ PDI/ Prometheus
2nd Best: KM TN
3rd Best: JBU- NOT MADBULL
R7
Great Video. When are you going to post V6 gearbox disassembly video. I’m getting the TM P90 in about month and upgrading the spring, spring guide, bushings, and piston. And I don’t want to ruin a $300 gun. I hope you post it soon so I can have it ready for the summer airsoft season.
by Pepe April 27th, 2009Hey thanks I’m going to buy a pdi 6.01mm some time this week
by Ben April 29th, 2009so its been over a month since we all contributed to a new camera and no offense (i know you guys are busy) but only one video has been produced and its just two screws and shaking a mechbox out of a gun. Not wanting to sound mean its just i was wondering when we could expect some new material
by Wired May 13th, 2009Wired, I agree it has been too long. We’ve had some interruption with a guest in our studio space and trying to coordinate time to get the rest of the P90/M14 videos done. On top of that we’re going to have more stuff coming in soon from http://www.evike.com – We feel your pain!!
by 6mm May 13th, 2009Okay sounds good. just know we all love your work and cant get enough!
by Wired May 13th, 2009Awesome! Very helpful, thanks. :]
by Josh June 12th, 2009Going on nearly four months without any action on Mechbox.. just wondering if you guys gave up on the whole deal or can we expect some new vids any time soon?
Btw great job on the vids youve done so far.. all of them have been very helpfull.
by Mario July 12th, 2009Any further updates guys???
by Rekrab July 18th, 2009Are you guys out of business or just have no time in the schedule? There haven’t been any videos in 4 months, and I really need that Version 6 reassembly video so I can finish fixing my CA P90.
by Logan August 4th, 2009I really need your guys help right now, I put a Tokyo Marui piston in my CA P90 after the stock one broke, and now the compression is so terrible it doesn’t fire the BBs. You can feel air come through the seam in the stock when you shoot it, what did I do wrong?
by Logan August 12th, 2009hey 6mm what type of spring guide does the P90 use?… looking forward to the v6 disassembly!
by Andrew August 19th, 2009Hey guys, I’ve always been a huge fan of the site, but like many of the guys here, I have to ask what’s going on? Little has been heard from 6mm in the way of responses to the posts, and even fewer videos have surfaced than ever before. If there are setbacks that are keeping you guys from churning out awesomeness, we’d all like to know and help.
by THCfox August 21st, 2009Where are you guys? It’s been around 6 months and no videos…what happened???
by Logan September 30th, 2009hey wat up whats happening when is the next vid comeing its been like 7 mounths
by martin October 16th, 2009I’m going to be honest, I don’t think there will be more videos. Think about it. They just get 600 dollars, then don’t make any more videos. I don’t think the camera was ever broken.
by Taylor October 21st, 2009Taylor, we did get the camera replaced and we have in fact shot some videos (just not produced the final cut). We’re not gone, just distracted with other paying gigs that keep us alive. We have the rest of the P90, M14 internals, a GBB and several M4s lined up and ready to roll… I know it’s been forever and we’re pissed about it too.
by 6mm October 21st, 2009so it takes threats of lies to get them talking.
by Taylor October 25th, 2009Good news though, good news.
So if the vids were “ready to roll” 2 months ago can we expect them pretty soon?
by Taylor December 20th, 2009
