  1. This is our first version 2 mechbox upgrade from the Tokyo Marui M733 (like the M4). More are on the way!

    by 6mm May 25th, 2008

  2. Is there anyway to download this video???

    by Brandon June 21st, 2008

  3. I really commend you guys for having such a nice site that help us airsofters learn to upgrade our own aeg’s. I opened my first aeg which is a jing gong m733 with a stock fps of 325. I upgraded my stock spring to sp 130 ,metal bushings, shims and spring guide with bearing. I also changed my inner barrel to 6.03mm and change my hop robber and true it increases my fps from 325 fps to 510 fps on .20 grms bbs. I am using now a .25 grams bbs to control the flight of my bbs and for accuracy also though it has a chrono of 480 fps still. Thank you guys for teaching us how to open and upgrade aeg’s. I wanted to see sometimes how to disassemble an m14 too. Thanks and more power to all of you guys.

  4. Hi, about the sillicon gel, is that also classified as cylinder grease or does the sillicon spray work. and does any thread lock work?

    thank you

    by Joe June 22nd, 2008

  5. yea, I was thinking some of the new videos are kind of slower then the old ones

    by H June 22nd, 2008

  6. re: Brandon – Not yet, we have not reworked all the older videos for download. Our goal is reshoot in HD before making them downloadable.

    ***

re: Thunder – Thanks for the comments and feedback. The M14 is being worked, but due to an unexpected trip, it will delay us for about 2 weeks.

    ***

re: Joe – The gel or grease is basically the same, yes. Spray is okay for some things, but I would use heavy stuff for things like gears. Threadlock of any kind should be fine for metal to metal, just look at the uses on the packaging to be sure.

    ***

re: H – I sent you email about the “slow” issue, curious to know how it is slower.

  7. You guys are “GREAT”!

by Robert Leverett June 23rd, 2008

  8. i own a JG M4 RIS Crane. it is almost identical to this gun but i am not sure about the gearbox. could you possibly do a complete breakdown like this one?

    by david June 26th, 2008

  9. david, the mechbox is the same (v2). If we get our hands on a JG, we may do a specific disassembly video. I’d definitely like to do something with a crane/ris setup.

    by 6mm June 26th, 2008

  10. i can not watch the video !!why??

    by freedom June 28th, 2008

  11. re: freedom – Just this video or all of them? Do you have the latest version of flash player? Did you let the page load fully? Did you give the video some time to load before pressing play?

Let me know and I will see if I can help you?

    by MechMaster June 28th, 2008

  12. i can not watch all of them! maybe i should download the new flash player !but where can i load it?

    by freedom June 29th, 2008

  13. sorry!i means where can i load the web’s own video player!(i am sorry,my English is very poor)

    by freedom June 29th, 2008

  14. I cannot watch any of the videos anymore due to a feed error. it says “ERROR:NO FEED
in order for the video to work, you need to pass it an xml feed. You can do this by passing it a “file” paramater:showplayer.swf?file=(the url of your feed)”
I am not sure how to fix this and i was hoping you would be able to help me fix this, seeing that you can fix my gun through a video… =)
Also, i would like to know, which m4 would you suggest for around $200-$250 with ris rails, a metal body, and a regular length barrel. I am open to upgrades of the body, and mabey some internals, but i am not sure what gun would be the best. Thanks a lot and keep the good work on the vids up.

  15. How do I remove the mechbox on an Echo-1 614 after the rear pin has been removed and the upper receiver has been swung foward?

by Ron Jennings July 8th, 2008

  16. Great guide folks! I also had a question as to whether or not you would be making a video on how to adjust motor height and finish the upgrade by replacing the old motor with a new one.

by Red Lion July 10th, 2008

  17. Red Lion, sure we can add the motor replacement in an upcoming video. Thanks for the suggestion.

    by 6mm July 10th, 2008

  18. this goes along with the gearbox removal video. With an ICS split gearbox is it necessary to remove the stock and grip to get to the lower gearbox? other than the the gearbox assembly is the same except not attached to the upper things (piston, spring, tappet plate, etc.) right?
    Thanks

    by Sean July 14th, 2008

  19. Sir, it was so nice to see your video on upgrades… how ever i’m just wondering why do you need to change the nozzle? what advantage does that make? if i do change it what nozzle should i get?

should you change the piston to make it more quite? or is there other way to suppressed the sound?

thank you very much for the advice
    russell niels

by russel niels July 14th, 2008

  20. Russel – The nozzle primary controls the precision of the air flow and can increase FPS to some degree. As for making the AEG quiet, a new cylinder head and piston head will do more to reduce noise.

    by 6mm July 15th, 2008

  21. Sean, with ICS you do need to remove the motor/handle to access the lower end. The components are very much the same otherwise. Only thing I noticed in the past was the ICS tappet plate was not always 100% compatible with others like Systema.

    by 6mm July 15th, 2008

  22. thank you very much for the prompt response and the video of amazing awsome invaluable knowledge!

    by Sean July 15th, 2008

  23. hi, i own a classic army m4 tactical and bought a m120 spring for it. i was wondering if i does any damage to the other parts in the gearbox and witch parts i have to combine to prevent that other parts will break down.

    by davey July 17th, 2008

  24. Thanks for the video helped me fix my m4!

    by Tyler July 17th, 2008

  25. Very informative!!! Thanks guys for putting this video online.

A question though, I recently upgraded to a 509mm barrel and had to put in a type-0 cylinder in my M4. I think I’m having problems with compression. Any suggestions?

Also, after putting the M4 back together. The sound of the M4 changed. It higher pitched sound. I never did touch the gears, only the cylinder set up. I sounds like a laser gun from star wars. Any suggestions?

    by Michael July 19th, 2008

  26. Michael, for the laser beam sound – check the adjustment of your motor. That can definitely changed the sound of things and could be damaging the gear. What are the exact problems you are having with the barrel?

    by 6mm July 20th, 2008

  27. davey, the CA parts should be able to take the M120.

    by 6mm July 20th, 2008

  28. I need to replace the part that the trigger touches. Its pretty much the only part in your video you dont name, lol. Dont get me wrong totally awesome video, very informative. Anyways after sticking my foot in my mouth, lol, What is the name of that part/mechanism and where can i get it from. Its the white plastic part as your showing how to put the trigger back in, pretty much the only part left in the gear box at that point.

    Thanks

    by Blair July 20th, 2008

  29. 6mm,

Everytime I shoot, the bbs seem to travel less distance compared to having a 384mm barrel. Also, I have the hopup set halfway (sometimes all the way), the bbs seems to arch downward. Like its not getting enough push.

I’m going to try and adjust the motor! I’ve tried it before, but it doesn’t do much. There is little to almost no noticable change in the laser sound.

    by Michael July 21st, 2008

  30. Question about timing. How important is it? It seems like there are four possible points the anti reversal latch can stop the bevel gear, and one quarter rotation of the bevel gear results in maybe 1/40 of a revolution on the sector gear. It also doesn’t seem to really effect the function of the mechbox, except where the spring stops after firing. I guess it might be a factor on say, a psg-1 mechbox, which is fancy, but… Maybe (likely) I am wrong, but I would like a little more explanation about the timing.

    by Zach July 22nd, 2008

  31. thanks! this really helped me put together my messed up mechbox. keep up the good work!

in noticed that the spring was mutch longer than the standard one. when everything back together i tested my aeg an i shoots not further than before the roffel is less and distance also how can this be? :s

  37. I Was Wondering If You Guys Could Do A Video Of A Version 8 Gearbox.

    by Tony August 3rd, 2008

  38. My first Aeg is a Star G36. Now the TM and CA G36 use Ver.3 mechboxes ut my Star G36 uses a Ver.2 mechbox Right?

    by Daniel August 4th, 2008

  39. Thanks for the video. Its more informative if the guide is visual.

I now have the “guts” to work on the my gearbox. This is the only remaining part of my m4 that i have’nt touch. The rest of my guide will be the manual, my “common sense” and my rudimentary caution. Look, remember and return – the pieces.

More power to you and good luck to me!

  40. Thank you so much for making this video. Ive been doing research like crazy trying to find a good guide on how to upgrade the spring in my CA M-15 RIS. I will definitely recommend this site for anyone looking to do upgrades to their gun.

  41. Thank you for the video. This website is very helpful, but does this video mention the cut off lever in any way? i need to replace that part but cant find out how

    by Neal August 9th, 2008

  42. Hello,

I just finished putting my gun back together. I was installing Modify stainless steel oilless bushings and Systema precision shims in my Echo 1 SR-15.

I got the mechbox PERFECTLY shimmed, it was almost silent, and spun around about 4-5 times with a little flick. Putting the mechbox back together was a complete nightmare. The most frustrating thing I have encountered in a LONG time. If it wasn’t the trigger popping out, it was the anti-reversal latch.

I can safely say I won’t be opening that box for a long time.

  43. Hi,
I have an Echo1 Phantom Civilian AUG(Civilian Styer AUG)
and have been noticing that the gears make a lot of noise, not grinding but whirling(typical movement noise), but it is Really loud. Is there any way that I can dull down or eliminate the noise.
    Gearbox specs.:
    Echo1 v3 AUG gearbox
    M100 spring
    Stock JG/Echo1 Gears
Stock Piston,Cylinder, Cylinder Head, and Piston head
Re-lubed the Gears with Teflon gear lube
Lubed cylinder, and piston set with silicone lube(gel)
But the Noise is still loud. Please, if you can, assist me.

  44. Hi,

Pardon my english, I try to do a same thing as video show but my trigger and anti-reversal latch keep pop out. not every thing keep stay still as video above. is there any suggestion.
    thanks a lot

    by Thanh August 12th, 2008

  45. Superb video, easy to follow, really helpful…will you do one for the V3 (JG AUG)? Ha…our problem in Korea is we have to downgrade the springs, most Korean teams play at 300fps max. Everyone on our team has a JG gun…the TMs, CAs etc are twice to 4 times the price of those in the US.

    Thanks again.

    by Robert August 13th, 2008

  46. Sorry, found the v3 video in others…;)

  47. First of all! This is the best site for airsoft ever!!!!

Just tried to do a spring upgrade M125 on a CA V2 gearbox. Everything worked out fine until I tested after putting it back together. I can shoot 2 times and than the piston is stucked to the back. After that the fuse is blown. The only way to unlock it is to open the gearbox again.
I tried with a 300% springguide but it’s always the same problem.
    Any ideas?

    cheers

  48. Great Video!
I used this to fix/upgrade my DBOYS/BOYI Metal M4A1 twice.

Just to let everyone know if you are going to take apart a DBOYS M4, the Magazine Catch Lever is different when removing it.
You have to push the button in farther than normal until you are able to rotate the other end. You must rotate this like a screw to undo the catch lever.
That is the only difference with what the video says, hope it helps!

    by Ryan August 18th, 2008

  49. Silver,

The stock fuse is like 15 amps…i suggest you use a 25-30 amp one. As for your piston locking, it happened to me too, try adjusting your shimming on your gears, other than that, I’m not really sure…hope that helped…^^

    by Glenn August 19th, 2008

  50. im wondering
whats the difference between the v2 gearbox and the v3 gearbox??

and are you going to post a video the the Tokyo Marui sig 552?

  58. This screwed up my m4 gearbox. I tried to put the trigger in, and it flew out maybe… 20 times? I gave up, cause it obviously wasnt going to work. The spring just kept shooting the trigger out right when i let go.

  64. This video would have been nice a week ago when i decided to open my gearbox up on my mp5. I removed everything in the gearbox associated with the selector switch and the trigger mechanism. I compleatly modified the trigger mechanism with a microswitch that is now in place of the old trigger mech. Now the gun is always full auto. One thing i noticed is that there is not a good seal around the piston head in the piston chamber. Maybe i need an upgraded piston head. Is the seal supposed to be tight or loose here?

    by Matt October 17th, 2008

  65. Drew,

Did you ever figure that out? I can’t pop up the end on my new spring either.

    by Chris October 23rd, 2008

  66. Hi. I have a UTG MP5. I get the gearbox thing, but how do I get to the actual gearbox. I know it sounds kind of stupid, but if you can help me, that would be great. You guys make amazing videos, the most helpful I’ve ever seen. You guys deserve some kind of award. I will always turn to you for my airsoft tech questions. Keep it up Mechbox!

    Thanks!

  70. i bought a m170 systema complete gearbox from redwolfairsoft.com and it works great with the 12v battery i got for it and its using the systema magnum motor so there is no problem firing it, however, when i load up my gun and fire it with the stock barrel (which by the way was good when i fired it with the stock gearbox)and it shot about 20ft or so and it seemed like the hop up had no effect at all as it was curving down also if anyone or 6mm could help me fix this problem i would be very thankful seeing as it was my only early christmas present.

    by drew December 6th, 2008

  71. exactly which kind of spring was it that you used? how heavy of a spring can I upgrade too before I need to replace other parts of the mech box with stronger ones?

    by drew December 14th, 2008

  72. Hi,your video is very clear to teach us how to upgrade the gearbox. Now I can upgrade my AEG myself. Thank you.

    by Tommy January 4th, 2009

  73. um any chance you have a video on how to put a gearbox together? as in from scratch because my gearbox is completely empty and i dont know how to get all the little parts back in.

    by dillon January 14th, 2009

  74. @ dillon – Yes! Great idea. We need to do a total transplant on my M4, so that would be a great video.

    by 6mm January 16th, 2009

  75. Thanks soooo much. I was upgrading to a 120 spring and when I open the gearbox, as gently as I could, it basiclly exploded in my hands. But thanks to this video I was able to get everything back together again.

P.S. My gun will now put a round clean through a Yellow PVC rain coat from about 5 metres away…Nice

I have an King Arms VLTOR M4A4 ASG and noticed since i bought it that the selector switch is wobbly and while in game for a minimum contact from rifle to my vest the selector switch changes place from safe to semi etc…

Is there’s a way to make it stiff or like all normal ASG ?

  80. I just recently upgraded my airsoft gun, at it works.

The only problem is that there is no longer any semi automatic fire. The gun just shoots at Full auto. The safety still works

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

    by Scott D. February 10th, 2009

  81. Hello, first of all thank you for doing this guide and all other guides that you do. Secondly, right now I have my V2 gearbox open from my Echo 1 614 and I am almost done completely reassembling the gearbox, but the anit-reversal latch keeps popping out of its place making me replace it and keeping me from closing my gearbox. In the video the anti-reversal latch did not move when you were replacing the bevel gear. So do you have any suggestions of how to keep the anti-reversal latch from popping out of place when replacing the bevel gear? Thank you for any help.

  82. great vid, i have 2 question, i have JG 416, and it has “spring -sound” and very loud the gearbor or i dont know something, so very loud when i shoot at semi. if shoot full auto, then very loud all of it. what could be cause this “spring-sound” effect, i dont know describe exactly this effect, very stange it’s a stock gun for a while. what could be the problem u think? the other questin, if i want 120-spring, what those elements ind the gearbos , what i have to change to a stronger parts? please help me.thank you. and sorry my poor english.

  86. I had my BOYI M4 SopMod disassembled and V2 Gearbox upgraded with the following:
    1. Metal Bushings
    2. Spring Guide with bearing
    3. 6-port Piston Head with bearing
    4. Enhanced Tappet Latch
During assembly, it was observed that the Anti-Reversing Latch is too difficult to position. What I did is to press the latch in place with a heavy set of flat screwdriver thru the Motor Port so as to prevent popping up. Also, since the bearings displaced some space, the spring tends to be compressed more, thus requires more force to keep it in place when re-assembled. (Since the spring is also compressed, it added more force on the piston.)
By the way, Viton O rings are better to use as piston ring, since it is more sturdy yet plays easy like rubber when the piston is on compression stroke. Don’t forget to apply silicon oil/gel on it to lubricate.
Also, some good points to consider:
    1. When an upgrade was made, ensure your battery has the enough energy/pressure to retract the piston, especially when you increase the spring force. My 8.4V 1100mah battery cannot supply enough energy to my motor anymore after the upgrade. I switched to a Li-Poly battery. It increased the power and the rate of fire of my unit.
    2. Seal as much ports as possible to reduce air loss. Instead of applying silicon oil on the cylinder head, wrap it with teflon tape before plugging in the cylinder.
    3. Wrap the part that the hop up rubber covers the portion of the barrel with about 2 rounds of teflon tape before remounting in the hop up chamber. This will reduce the pressurized air from escaping thru the hop up rubber.
    4. If you can, ensure to have a fuse installed between the battery and motor cable. (Some units have mo fuse installed.) Instead of the motor, the fuse will be a cheaper part to replace when the motor is overloaded. This applies mainly to Li-Poly users as the energy density is greater.

By the way, if you’re curious, with my upgrade/procedure, my unit increased its power, from 345fps to a whopping 410fps. :D (I didn’t change the spring, mind you.)

  87. Hey, first off a big salute to you guys, you are awsome. Few questions tho…I have a CA G36, I am looking to upgrade to a M120 and was wondering if I would have to replace any other parts? Are the internals strong enough, and pardon me(im new to this site) is there a vid on up grading the G36 with a M120? Any help is appreciated.

  88. Nice one guys, great video – clear, precise and easy to follow. I’ve just got my AGM MP44 which has a version 2 box, and it needs downgrading to 350fps for UK sites. I think after watching your guide I’ll have a go at it myself.

    by Nick.B April 9th, 2009

  89. Hi Greg,
You should replace the bushings with metal ones, upgrade to reinforced gears (Guarder/ Hurricane/ Systema), pad your cylinder head using an ARS Sorbothane pad, get a ball bearing spring guide- that is, if your G36 doesn’t have one which I have no idea if it does)- (kind of optional but almost necessary for long- term), make sure you have a ball bearing piston head (which I am very sure the CA has) and make sure your battery (has to be 8.4v or higher) and piston are running at top shape!
If you really want to increase performance, redo the shimming (which you’ve probably already done).
This IS ALL YOU NEED, and you will have one reliable gun until your piston goes out again!!

  91. Hey, this guide helped me so much to upgrade my tokyo marui MP5. Really going into the depth and describing things to the detail. 5 stars from!… oh wait, there’s no ‘starring’ here.

  92. Thank you guys so much for making these videos. I don’t know where I’d be without them. They’re so informative and well done.

  94. 6mm,
on an upgrade spring, is there a tab of metal at the end of the coil that connects to the piece of metal inside the piston head? if not, is it safe to put the spring in witho out the bearings and still use the stock piston and metal piece inside??

    by Tanner May 3rd, 2009

  95. If I understand your question correctly, Yes, you can put a new upgrade spring inside the stock piston/piston head combination. A bearing piston head is not a *requirement*

    by 6mm May 6th, 2009

  96. Do i need any other additional parts to do a spring upgrade? Please respond, Thanks for the vid to its wonderful!!

    by Tanner May 9th, 2009

  97. oh thank you 6mm i didn’t see you responded, thank you very much!

  98. Where is a good place to buy the upgrades I would need for an Echo 1 M4 commando?

    by Nick May 18th, 2009

  99. Wow, fantastic guide. After seeing this I went and got the FAMAS SV that’s been lying under my bed for over a year, and even though it contains the Version 1, it’s very similar inside. Finally I conquered my fear of opening the gear box, got it working and firing better than ever. Thanks mechbox.com!

  100. If i upgrade my stock spring (M120) in my JG M4 S-SYstem Enhanced version to a m130 would i ned any other upgrade parts beside the spring?

  101. Sorry for the spelling mistakes.

  102. Okay, i really need help here, im having alot of trouble getting the anti-reversal latch and the trigger to stay in place, they always pop out! and i cant compress my upgraded spring enough to istall it, could someone please help me?! Im really frustrated and could use any help available, thanks.

    by Tanner May 20th, 2009

  103. alright i know this sounds weird but i was getting tired of the anti-reversal latch coming out,so i didn’t put it in just to see what would happen and everything works great, the only problem you have is when you squeeze the trigger half way and let go it will unravel the gears but other than that you don’t need it, you will probably need it for a high tension spring but im not sure.and if it doesn’t work for you its simple to just put it back in so nothing can go wrong.my friend has also taken out the anti-reversal latch and his works fine too (he has an m130 spring in his)

  104. HI DREW/ TANNER!
After many VERY FRUSTRATING (I went, like, mad) times of trying to close the mechbox case. I figured out the following techniques:
ALTHOUGH I MAY GET CRITICIZED FOR A LONG POST, THIS IS IMPORTANT.
    Try this:
1- TRIGGER- Put a heavy object on the end of the trigger so that there is downpressure on it. This is to keep it from popping out of place!
2- ANTI REVERSAL LATCH- Acquire a very thin something and stick it through the pinion gear hole (where the motor’s gear goes through to make contact with the bevel gear). In the assembly process, use the thin (in diameter) something to put down pressure on the anti reversal latch arm
(I— <that horizontal part). This should also keep it from slanting to one side from all the pressure it is exerting on the bevel gear. If this doesn’t work, have someone use some needle nose pliers to keep it in place (sticking them through a crack somewhere in the mechbox).
3- PISTON ASSEMBLY- This is probably the most helpful thing I have figured out. Put a thin philips screwdriver through the back end of the spring guide once the spring is compressed inside the mechbox ( I hope yours has a hole in the back of it). Insert the screwdriver into the hole in the back of the spring guide and push down with the philips screwdriver (so that it is pointing towards the floor). This will put downpressure both on the piston/ spring guide/ and cylinder. If you can, you should have someone do this step for you as it is so easy. This will free you to holding the anti reversal latch down with the thin object.
4- SAVETY COVER- Put the selector lever into the safe position so that the safety cover doesn’t get in the way of the two halves of the mechbox closing.
5- SHIMS- Try putting the shims on the gears as opposed to closing the case with the shims still attached with grease on the other side of the case.

Well, that covers pretty much everything that gets in the way of closing a mechbox case!

  105. Ahh! This video helped a lot! But my stupid ARL won’t keep stay! Whenever I go to put the Bevel gear back on, the ARL pops out– it doesn’t “lock in”.

  106. Are you guys going to make any videos any time soon? This site is a great reference for so many people.

  107. So i was attempting to Upgrade my spring from a m120 to a m130 and i couldn’t compress the spring, its to tight, any suggestions or is this natural?

    by Tanner May 29th, 2009

  108. Tanner, put a screw driver through the spring guide and push with that, get one small enough to fit through the hole in the back of the gearbox so you can keep the screw driver compressed while you close the gearbox.

    by dew May 30th, 2009

  109. Hey Michael-
Read my previous post and use your knee/ fingers/ feet/ heavy objects to hold things down. I’ve heard magnets work a little.

  113. Thanks guys for the great guide. I upgraded my mechbox to a src reinforced 8mm with kanzen bearings, element max torque helicals, element steel teeth piston, element spring guide with bearing, deepfire metal nozzle, already have a jg high torque motor, and i put in a KA m150 spring. I’m going 2 use a 9.6v 1400 mh and a 350mm*3.04mm ca tightbore with guardar 70% bucking. I think it should be durable but I know im going 2 probably have 2 replace the piston and ill get a deepfire titanium, and the compression is great(i checked). Any comments anyone

  114. Hey, first of great videos! Ok, I was working on upgrading my TM AUG. I have two problems. The first is that the AUG has an interesting trigger/trigger assembly. My trigger fell apart, and off the mechbox shell. Can you do a video for that specific gun? The second problem is that my piston head’s threads are stripped. If I need to I will get a new piston head, but I only meant to install a new spring. How do I get this thing off?!!

  119. hey, guys ummm, is there another place i can get this video, i have the cm.023 mp5 and id really like to upgrade the spring because its cheaper then just buying a stock gun with the same fps,but this doesnt seem to work on this site, when i press play the icon just sits there blinking and spinning, i dont know whats wrong, and im not the biggest fan of downloading random things, thanks

  120. When he is instaling the new spring the stock one is stuck into the piston, but the way he describes to put the new one in it wont be stuck in the piston, will it matter that the new one wont be stuck in too? Thanks

  126. Hey guys,

I’m having trouble making my gun go bang after upgrading.

When I pull the trigger, I can hear the motor click but nothing’s moving. Somehow my motor plate does not go in fully, I think this is because of the wires being messed up, but it was messed up before and I didn’t have any problems. The motor works fine as I have tested it.

    Any tips???

    Thanks in advance.

  129. hey i have a jg m4 cqb. it is a v2 gearbox and it has a stock m120 spring in it. should i go with an m125 or a m113? this is just going to be mid field range so i need at least 120-150ft range.

or would it be a better idea to get another m120?

  133. I am upgrading my CA M15A4 Carbine (sportline) and I was planning on buying the JBU M120 Upgrade Kit for M4. On the website I am going to be buying it from it says to also upgrade the gears to reinforced gears. I wanted to know If the stock gears in the gun are reinforced, or if I need to replace them.

Also If anyone knows of any other parts that need to be replaced that are not included in the upgrade kit, please let me know.

    Thanks,

  138. so i got an m120 spring from evike, and i had my friend put it in for me, he’s vry experienced in airsoft guns. anyways, the video says put the tighter coilling in first but he put it last. when we test fired it, the mechbox snapped in half. is that because the way he put it in or the mechbox?
