Greetings:

I like to see a detailed disassembly/reassembly on the KART M-14 EBR. Also a detailed gearbox upgrade video would be a great help. I own the KART M-14 and have been experiencing feed issues, I've concluded the hop-up is to blame. My weapon simply came un-done. The barrel assembly simply slid off. Any assistance would be a great help.

Thanks,

Getting the cylindrical "nub" back in the hopup unit takes some patience and a small screwdriver (or similar small tool). Balance the nub inside the hopup to keep it from rolling out, then use a screwdriver to carefully align inside the hopup chamber.

I am having alot of trouble trying to get the nub right or sitting back in the hop up unit. In the video you just have... make sure the nub is in there before you replace the barrel... How does it sit in there? I am replacing the inner barrel of the gun and the nub just kinda fell out now how do I put it back in there?

Hi Bob Morane,
My M4 did the same thing! It would only fire on auto. However, YOU CAN FIX IT. On my gun, the problem was with the selector plate. It got worn down (I'm very sure) from me switching to safe/ semi/ auto so many times. If you replace this part, the gun will probably function!
If it doesn't, check the cut off lever (you should do this first before you think about ordering a selector plate). If the cut off lever is screwed down to the gearbox to hard, the cut off lever can't function! So, just loosen the cut off lever a VERY TINY bit to make the CU lever move very freely back and forth.
Please tell me how it works!

The regular M14 is 520 mm long, SOCOM is 440 MM.

I was wondering, I bought A M14 with a broken Flash Hider. Is it removable, or should I say replaceable?
