G36C Reassembly

respond

Now that you’ve taken the G36C apart, here’s a quick video showing how to put it back together. The Tokyo Marui G36C airsoft gun is definitely one of the better designed AEGs out there. Gun provided by Airsoft Extreme.

  1. hi, just watched your videos on the g36. im hoping to do a inner barrel swap, is it easy with the g36?

by pete dunn July 16th, 2008

  2. Pete, yes, the G36C barrel swap is pretty simple. As soon as we can get our hands on the G36, we’ll reshoot the breakdown in more detail!

  3. I have a jg g36c (TM clone), but i think my hop up might be broken, could you please make a video on how to remove the hop up system? Or coment? HELP

  4. I’ve installed a new motor and metal bushings to my gearbox to my JG G36c but when I but everything together…part of my hop up is blocking the hole where bbs feed through from the mag…every screw fits perfect but it looks like the gearbox might be off that would make the hop up block the whole…any ideas how I can fix this?

  5. John, is the hopup blocking the BB or is it the nozzle from the mechbox?

    by 6mm August 2nd, 2008

  6. Hey 6mm- I’m not sure if you have a G36 on site to do a hopup video or not. I would be willing to send you my G36 to use. It’s in prime condition, and is an Echo-1, so it’s a TM clone. Email me back if you’re interested. :)

  12. Hi. I have the same problem as John, where it’s either part of the hopup, or the tip of the mechbox nozzle blocking the bbs from feeding into my JG G36c. If I turn the gun upside down, drop a bb into the feeding hole, pull back on the fake charging handle to expose the hopup, then pull the hopup towards the muzzle, I can see the bb drop in. Any ideals?
    Thanks.

  13. You can disregard my last. I found instructions on taking out the barrel and hop-up assembly, and saw that the plastic outer barrel had broken where the hop-up attaches, causing the hop-up to fully seat against the mechbox, and block the feeding port. I hope I can get a replacement outer barrel.
    Thanks.

  15. Hello, I have an SRC gearbox. when I have the gearbox alone outside of the lower receiver pistol grip, the gun works fine, and then as soon as I try and put the gun into the lower receiver the gun stops working, wont fire wont even turn over. has this happened to anybody before? and what is the cure? Three people have looked at it and they are all at a loss.

  17. I just bought a complete tune-up kits from Guarder w/150 for echo 1 G36c and I bought the motor to match with a lipo 11.1 4000 mah. Took it apartment and put it back to together. The velocity sucks, it’s not even shooting over 200 fps. I dont know what’s wrong. I rebuild guns all the time having a problem with this one. Had to modify a lot of parts to make fit Guarder part aren’t all compatible. Please help!

    by Bulldog_Belisle2 February 26th, 2009

  18. Ken, it sounds like you tightened the motor base screw too much. try losening it up.

    by Dave February 28th, 2009

  19. I sent you guys an e-mail over 2 months ago and still have not received a reply. Any reason?

    by Tom March 28th, 2009

  20. Hey Bulldog_Belisle2,
1- Take a look at your hop bucking. Is it in prime condition? If it isn’t you may need to replace it. If it is the problem, your velocity will go up by ALOT!
2- Take a look at the Oring on your piston head. Is it snug inside the cylinder wall?
3- Is there anything obstructing the tappet plate’s way from moving to its forward position? If there is ANYTHING keeping it from being pulled all the way forward to the point of touching the mechbox case with its small spring, then you will have about 300 FPS LOSS.
4- Finally, take a look around the hop unit/ nozzle area where air might escape.
If all these are fine, there should be NO REASON for it not to fire really HOT!

  21. I am assuming that these procedures work on all G36 versions including the K version. Would that be correct or no? Why is there so much about the G36C, but so little about the G36K? I am considering buying a K version.

  22. Hi
I have bought a JG G36C, and wonders if any1 can help me upgrade it? I have about 100$ i can spend on upgrades on http://www.gunnerairsoft.com and I want to upgrade it to about 450fps. It would also be nice if accuracy and rpm where increased, but 450 fps is my main goal. If somebody can tell me what to buy I would be very happy! And I think I manage to upgrade the gun if I watch the videos on the site. Please help:)
