What format is the HD download of your videos?
The HD version of our videos are .MP4 encoded in H.264. Straight from download, you can play this on your PC, Apple TV, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and most any other popular device that supports HD video.
What format is the portable download of your videos?
The portable version of our videos are .M4V encoded in H.264. Straight from download, you can play this on any of the current generation iPods (including iPhone), Zune and others.

What are Video Feeds?
Video feeds are a really simple way to get the latest video content without having to check the site everyday. By clicking on the corresponding link, you can subscribe to our video feed though Feedburner or iTunes. Depending on which you choose, you will be updated every time we publish a new video and be able to download it. If you are subscribed through iTunes, iTunes will automatically download the video for you.
What are Content Feeds?
We have two different content feeds, “front page” and “comments”. Content feeds are an easy way to get updated on new content without checking the site everyday. You can subscribe to either feed via Feedburner or e-mail. 

The front page feed will update you anytime we publish new content. The comment feed will update you with the latest comments. Subscribe through Feedburner to get updated through your RSS reader of choice. Subscribing through e-mail will send you an e-mail anytime letting you know about this new content and show you a preview of it.

What is an RSS and who is this Feedburner person?
In short, Feedburner is an easy way for people to subscribe to content using whatever reader they want and RSS is the technology that makes it possible. Here is a good place to get you started: 

Feed 101

I sent a message and never heard anything back, what gives?
Right now it is just two people running this whole operation. We would love to answer each and every inquiry personally, it just isn’t possible. If we did, we would have no time for anything else. Don’t be discouraged, we love to get feedback and your airsoft questions. Even if they don’t get answered directly, it helps us know what you want and need help with so we can better make content to help you. 

It’s easier for us to answer questions if they are:
Short and to the point. Thought out ahead of time. Not a giant wall of text. NOT in all caps. Coherent. Unique.

I’m using Internet Explorer 6 and some things don’t look right. Why is that?
Things look messed up in IE6 (Internet Explorer), because unlike many other popular browsers (Firefox, Safari etc..) it doesn’t fully support web standards. Actually, IE6 is almost archaic. You and anyone else running IE6 (or IE7 for that matter) should download Firefox or even better Apple’s Safari. Seriously! It’s free, web standard compliant, easier to use, faster and so much better in every conceivable way. Honestly. You will be glad you switched, I promise! Did I mention that it’s free!?
Can I use Mechbox.com videos on my own blog or website?
Yes, you can share the videos or embed the Flash videos for your personal use or other non-commercial manner. We’d appreciate a link back to our site if you are sharing our content.
