by msg July 1st, 2008I noticed that the dragunov looks a lot like an ak-47 with a different stock and a longer barrel. Could it be possible to change back and forth from an ak-47 to a dragunov without having to make major changes to the guns body?
by Q July 29th, 2008Hi i have an AK47S. i just bought a new DBoys AK Gear box But i cannot fit it in properly because the wires are to short and will not go over the Battery compartment. and the fuse is in the Way, can i take that fuse off to help fit it in.

by Tyler August 5th, 2008Be careful with the selector plates, if you put them wrong your gun wont shoot semi anymore! But its easy to fix
by Germit September 27th, 2008hi im having troble putting back the plastic upper reciver rod do you have any tips for putting it on there?

by jason mraz January 16th, 2009I have been having problems with my fire selector. Everytime i switch from safety to Full-Automatic my AK is still stuck on safety. I pretty much have to go to Semi-Automatic and then back to Full-Auto for it to work. Any suggestions on what i can do?
by Sean February 17th, 2009@ Sean – Most likely the safety is stuck internally. Sometimes the lever gets caught and requires a disassembly to sort it out.
by 6mm February 20th, 2009i borrowed a clone ak from my friend, and i took the gearbox apart to fix it and while i was taking it apart my dog hit me so the peices went flying. How do i reassemble the gearbox? its a very cheap clone with aclear plastic gearbox. thx
by sam March 9th, 2009I have taken apart a G&G rk103, everything went fine, once I had gotten everything back together and I test fired it I noticed that on semi-auto I would pull the trigger back and it would fire but then I would have to push the trigger back into the normal position to fire again (it would just stay all the way back), yet this does not happen on full auto mode. Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thanks!
by cyrus March 25th, 2009I NEED ADVICE THAT HOW TO CHOOSE PROPER 8.4 V BATTERY .
by RX March 28th, 2009Hey Sean,
by R7 April 11th, 2009I think you have a problem with the selector plate and/ or your safe/semi/auto selector switch. If the selector plate is worn down or broken, problems like this happens. This should be the only problem, but if not, take a look at your cut off lever.

Hi RX,
by R7 May 7th, 2009If you have a gun with a mini connector plug, then make sure to get a battery which also has a mini plug on it. If, however, your gun uses a large plug, then you need a battery with a large plug. Mini plugs on the gun will not fit with large lugs on the battery and vice versa.
Intellect, in my opinion, makes the best batteries. If you get a Nicd battery, you will need to buy a discharger, but with NiMH batteries, this is not a problem.

Hey how do you take apart the upper forgrip to replace plastic parts with real wood parts.
by john August 7th, 2009So dude..lol.
In the other video, that small piece that is “critical”, you didn’t show putting back it. When I got my gun apart, it shot out and I didn’t really see where from.
I’ll prolly figure it out, but still. If you can tell me where it goes it would help, thanks! Ty for the great vids btw.
by Josh August 8th, 2009Yeah it was really simple to figure out, nvm.
by Josh August 8th, 2009thanks.
The JG SVD dragunov’s front end will fit on properly but the stock will not.
by Guester18223 August 16th, 2009thanks! i just got a 60th annvy issue ak and had a problum with it, this vid also works for other brand aks! GREAT!!
by daniel September 17th, 2009I just got an Action AK 9mm gearbox set. I put it together and my stock motor does not have enough power to turn it. Any suggestions as to what motor I should get?
by Dan November 22nd, 2009Very important to note that the CYMA $90-ish AK does not have a serperate magazine catch, it is built in. So if you take apart one do not freak out “WHERE IS MY MAG CATCH!!! OH NO!”
