Banner Ads

We currently offer a limited number of website advertising positions inside the right column. Only (4) four ad positions are available. Advertisers may also place up to (2) two unique graphics in a random rotation within a single slot.  All ads are ROS (run of site), meaning they appear on every page found at Mechbox.com.

Ads are hosted locally using a reputable open source ad serving application. We prefer to host the banners on our application so we can monitor the performance and verify the success of each campaign. Advertisers will receive their own account and login to the system to manage the account and export statistics anytime they wish. If you already use another ad service, just let us know and we will do our best to integrate the 3rd party code.

 

Rotating Banner Ad Rates

Minimum 6 month campaign
Rate effective date: May 1, 2009

 

Exclusive Banner Ad Rates

Exclusive means that no other banners will rotate in your block (one of the 4 positions will be yours and only yours).

$200 per month
Minimum 3 month campaign
Rate effective date: May 1, 2009

Video Sponsorship

In the near future Mechbox.com will be offering in-video sponsorship opportunities. Some retailers will already be receiving lower third recognition or credit roll mentions for providing products seen in videos. Rates will be significantly higher than the banner ads. Mechbox.com attracts airsoft players and enthusiasts from all around the world. Our most active country by far is the USA – largely due to the English only content we currently provide. Beyond our large USA audience, our site currently receives a large number of visitors from everywhere around the world. The current top four regions are USA, France, Hong Kong and Spain. Due to the nature of our content our viewers tend to stay on the site for an average of more than 4 minutes.
